So getting a new horse and have found a stable for him.
It's nice and big so plenty of space for him.
My only thing is. It has like a step up to a bit of a higher bit if you understand.
Like as you go in the stable it's fine then about midway it steps up.
How would you go about bedding a stable like that. It does not bother me I'm just thinking what would be the best way to put bedding down on it. Sorry if you can't understand its hard to explain.

If the step up is big enough, I have the bed on there then the lower bit can be for water and feed.

If its not big enough would rubber matts make the lower level even with the top.

Would've be very comfortable if the horse tried to lay mid step!

My stable was like this - Ollie would trip on the step all the time, especially as the haynets were tied on the lower bit. We picked up a load of the old council paving slabs which are 2" thick! We laid those and its flat as a pancake now. I didn't even have to pay for them, I just saw them in a skip one day and knocked the front door.
