my mare travels on the right of my trailer and my friend wants to travel with me. We have got her mare to load but she is very tempremental she kicks horses if they come to close and is very flighty shes is warmblood x TB but acts like a crazy TB i think we can get them to load together but its the coming off that worries me, the ramp is on the right if my horse comes off first how do we stop hers panicing and not trying to barge through the breastbar. I am worried if i put my mare on the left she will panic if she has to watch a horse go out before her any advice please!!!

Strictly speaking, you should put the heaviest horse on the right, so that should dictate who comes off first etc. As for the panicing, I would just make sure that you keep the first horse near the bottom of the ramp after unloading, so the other horse can see her the whole time. IME, they are *generally* likely to panic only if the other horse goes out of sight.

Yes take them out the back, I think they tend to panic less and they can really rush out and knock themselves too much. I would much much prefer to back a horse out of a trailer unless I had a horse that i knew would walk very quietly out the front onto a tiny narrow ramp.
