Unmolassed beet

trident equibeet, its loads cheaper than the quick soak ones.

Ditto. Also, when soaked it also has larger particles in it compared to quick soak, which my vet told me is better for the gut. He also said because the quick soak stuff is processed in order for it to soak quickly, this also denatures the fibre. This is not so good for the horse.

I use the Trident stuff too

I used to use the white flakes which had to be soaked for 12 hours, and I'm sure Dodson and horrell made them but can't find them on their website. They were fab!

This is what I'm feeding at the moment, D&H unmolassed sugar beet shreds, massive sack for about £8. Needs soaking for 12hrs but sometimes I cheat and use hot water so it's faster.
