Unmolassed chaff

I've been looking for a non molassed chaff and my local merchant has ''Plain and simple'' from Ossichaff. I just wondered if anyone has tried it and what they thought?

I've never tried that one, but I swear by Dengie HiFi Molasses Free - mine get it as a complete feed (+ their vits n mins)

Rose had top spec top chop lite and that is unmollassed and the cheapest i have found (at least from my tack shop) It has a lovely minty smell too.

Good stuff, never dusty and always smells great. I have used it since it first came on the market and the horses love it.

As well trying to avoid anything coated in molasses I also don't want alfalfa, so Top Spec is not for me.

Look at Graze On by Northern Crop Driers. It's very clean, just dried grass and molasses free, it's the only chop I'll use now.

I was about to say, Graze On, ReadiGrass, JustGrass, Supreme Grass are freeze dried meadow grass chaffs - no molasses, no lucerne, but some decent nutritional value.

topspec topchop lite all the horses really like it even one that often goes off other chaffs and just picks his nuggets out.

Oh you are so lucky that you can get Ossichaff from your feed merchant - it's fantastic, sadly I can only get it if I order it and pay for the postage, I had a bale and we loved it - yes it's just plain dust extracted chopped straw - chaff without molasses. If anyone knows where you can buy it in the south please pm me!

Another vote for Top Chop Lite the horses love it and in the middle of winter if you add some hot water it smells delicious!!!
