I have a pba which I bred and is now 18 years old. Earlier this year he had osteoarthritis in his hind hock the vet gave him a steroid injection which made him sound, At the same time he was showing signs of slight sensitivity over his quarters, blood, urine and scans show all clear. chiropractor found nothing wrong as the year progressed he has got worse we cannot groom him,rug him up or pick up his hind feet and sometime cannot get near him at all, His reactions are squealing, kicking out and trying to bite the strange thing is when you manage to get on him he rides as normal and will let you touch anywhere on his body.
Has anyone come across this before as we need to put him right?
