It's been a little while since I've posted. I've had a bit of the up-and-downs here, so I'll start with telling you about those. They were different kinds of up-and-downs!
The first one was some jumpies. I had to do 8 of them in a row!
It was very exciting. But it was ok, not nearly as scary as it was before, and I got praised lots!
The second one was a trot in the woods. It was a long trot, and we went to a place we hadn't gone before. With us were the big grey horse that went to go run with the howling and tooting things with me, and the black-and-white horse that tries to bite me whenever I go past his stall, and another big grey horse. The Scary Chicken-Flap Man was there too. In the new place, the grass was suddenly really really deep and it was wet and felt all sinky, so I wanted to run really really fast to get out of there. The Carrot Lady didn't want me to run really really fast, so I had to to some up-and-down instead, and some kicking out, too. She actually thought there was something caught in my tail!
That was fun.
The third one was some more jumpies. This time, they were at the place where we sometimes go in the winter to do circles. My feet were a bit sore, so I didn't really want to trot, but it wasn't so bad on the grass, and the Carrot Lady insisted, and so I tried to do some of the jumpies really, really fast, and that wasn't quite right either, apparently, but anyway, I got praised lots again.
One of the other carrot people held on to my reins for a while, and I tried to take the food she was eating but she didn't let me.
The fourth one, we went to the square place with a roof on again to do some more circles. We went twice. The first time, my feet hurt again a little bit, and I didn't want to make circles, and so the Carrot Lady took me home again. The second time was worse, because my feet still hurt, and so I tried walking backwards lots, and doing some of the Kung-Fu Pony moves, and all I got was smacked, so we did some circles, and then she said sorry for making me do the circles, when all she could have done was not make me do the circles in the first place.
And then I got put in pony jail again, and got smacked on the bum again just because I didn't want to go in there, and how is that fair?
I'm still in pony jail, by the way.
But at least my feet don't hurt anymore.
Today's up-and-down was up into a stall on wheels, and then back down again after I got some grass and some white minty things with holes in. It was a different stall on wheels than I've seen before. The Carrot Lady was really excited for some reason, and said we would be going on a Beech Ride! That sounds very tasty; I really like beech leaves, but I'm a bit concerned, because I don't usually get to eat anything when she's sitting on me, so how am I meant to enjoy the beech leaves on the Beech Ride?
Maybe it's a trot to some beech trees, and then we get to stop to eat some leaves!
Anyway, that's the up-and-downs!
