Update about Amber

Well, she's home now, with 3 lots of stitches.

Felt awful when they took her in

Her pre-op bloods all came back fine, apart from her lymphocyte count was HUGE...so think we are def doing the right thing. He took out a scapula node, and biopsied 2 other lumps to have a look at. They let my OH sit with her whilst she came round. She's now home and fast asleep on her sofa with a blanket.

Everything crossed that the results all come back clear, my pups have their paws crossed (well actually they are snoozing but I'm sure they would if they knew)!
I see some serious spoiling and pampering in Ambers near future.

Aww thanks guys.

She's had a lovely snooze on 'her' sofa, and has spent the last half hour snoozing out in the garden with us. She's now sitting in the back of the 4x4 snoozing whilst watching the OH split logs.

Poor Millie pup is worried about her and keeps going over and sitting next to her.

I think the tests will probably come back showing lymphoma...but for now she is fine.

Glad to hear she got through the operation without problem and extra glad to hear your OH was allowed to be with her when she came round. I'm convinced that if its a calm and sensible owner who doesn't pity them (at least not much), it must be less stressful for them to be with the owner as much as possible.

I hope the results that comes back are positive, but either way, now if something needs to/can be done you have a chance to do it.
