It came to me this morning as I was picking out her feet... I said “give me your foot, sweetie” ...

So her stable name is now officially Sweetie... I may call her Lady bird on her passport - as she’s sort of red and white and the L Johnson is a nice connection but I am thinking about Haribo or the such like .... but there’s no rush for that one.

See, I rarely use my horses names unless they are being told off. The majority of the time I call them ‘Sweetheart’ or ‘My Love’ or in the case of my pony ‘Fuzz’ or ‘Pony’.

Sweetie sounds lovely.

That's a very sweet name OP :)

One of my dogs was from a litter that the breeder named after sweets (as their KC reg. names), so her registered name is [breeders prefix] Angel Delight, which I actually quite like compared to the truly awful/naff registered names that most of the other dogs I've owned have had. She had a brother in the same litter called [prefix] Toffee, and another who was [prefix] Buttons, so if you want to pick a passport name in the same theme as her stable name there are quite a lot of options.
