Took some pics of the ginger beast at the weekend so thought would post them.
Generally am very pleased with Alfie,he's a lovely puppy and still amazes me with his reaonably calm and attentive nature (this is probably not a big deal for most dog owners,but this is an irish setter we're talking about lol
).He has his mad moments,and sometimes they're much longer than moments lol,but overall he is proving to be a very happy but not too bouncy puppy that listens and has even shown glimpses of intelligence and ability to be trained (again not a big deal for most but quite a thing for a setter!!).
Took him to the beach on sunday,he loved it!! OH got him to go in the sea,which he seemed to love as kept doing it every two mins after that (although sat there shivering like a wuss afterwards lol),I am not so pleased with this as I was at the time,as this morning on his walk he jumped into the stream and got wet and smelly,he has developed a taste for the water it seems

I forgot to take any pics of him having a hoon around on the beach,but got a couple of him sharing OH ice cream afterwards (he only had a lick or two,as not sure if dogs are supposed to eat ice cream but felt mean all sat there scoffing and poor Alfie watching lol).Took a couple of him today after his second bath in two days just because he looked clean and shiny lol
Anyway will shut up waffling now,and post some pics,thanx for reading and hope you like

what a lovely boy!!!! setters are such cheerful, happy go lucky dogs and if yours has a calm temperament, you are VERY lucky.....
