Update from this
http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=396139

I gave Roo a couple of days off because I noticed she seemed unlevel in her hip. After a couple of days I got my YM to watch her being trotted up and on the lunge to check she was sound. She was.
So I rode her and she was really good. And then I decided to book her into a jumping lesson with a fantastic instructor as I knew he'd be able to tell me if it was a pain reaction.

Was a fantastic lesson, Roo was super. No rushing into fences :D
Instructor pointed out that when I turn to a fence I worry and think "gotta get over that as quick as possible" and I don't breathe, and then I land, breathe and think Im still alive :p So it makes Roo rush.
We did some exercises that really helped me to relax, and by the end of the lesson I was jumping a double with the second element a 3 foot spread.
