Update from last night :(

This morning we loaded Marley up (went on no problem my little super star) and took him to the vets for his workup

all went well and he was sound. we then started to look at his back, its totally rigid and solid, he had no reaction to anything the vet did, no moving away from pressure almost as if he had no movemet or feeling in it at all. vet a bit stumped as not really seen anything like that before so hes been admitted and is having xrays and bone scans over the next few days

so fingers crossed for my baby and sadly i cant see him until sunday as he will be radioactive from tomorrow

a stiff drink for all in need of one lol xxx

(((hugs))) mine is going in for bone scans soon but the dye they use is in very short supply and where hes going to have them doesnt have enough! so he has to wait which suits him as hes got other problems to sort first! they are such a worry these horses!

I hope he's ok. I know what you're going through. My youngest was admitted this morning for investigation work and the hospital has found an "abnormal mass" right up in one of her sinuses.....she is being operated on tomorrow and will be in hospital for at least a week. Unfortunately hospital is two and a half hours away, so I can't even visit! Hope everything goes ok for yours. x

hey guys, sorry ive not replied, not really known what to do with myself as just so worried.

thankyou so much for your texts and kind words today they have really helped me. ill keep you all updated but sadly i cant see him for a while so for the next few days you may just get the ramblings of a mad woman lol. and Flea_bite youre quite right maybe it will provide the answers we've needed for a long time just hope its another battle he fights like always.....funny isnt it when you think i almost registered him as Buffalo Soldier as his name is Marley lol (i know what buffalo soldier means really but the soldier bit is certainly applicable)
