After all the upset with Alee (she is off to the Royal Vet College next week for scintigraphy) I am quite pleased that I have had something to keep my mind occupied. So I just thought i'd update you on the share horse I went to view last week.
The viewing was planned for today but me and his owner couldn't wait so we arranged to meet at her trainers place where he has been for the last 8 weeks since coming back into work.

He has had about a year off from a injury then his owner not having time to ride but sems to have settled well back into his ridden work. I rode him for about 20 mins and then told the owner that I wold like to be considered obviously once she has seen everybody else. Her answer to me was that she didn't need to see anyone else que big

We had a chat and then she produced a schedule for a local dressage comp and asked me which class i'd lke to do, que more big

He is now back home so I went over on wednesday this week and had another little play in the school. My mind went blank, bearing in mind I haven't schooled a proper horse for coming on for 2 years, I just ended up doing circles in walk trot and canter with a few leg yields and some transitions. I saw a bit of his quirky side where he just decides he is going turn round and go the other way, but I think this was partly due to me making him bored!!!

So am going over again today for a lesson with her trainer which I am really looking forward to but she has said that eventually I can use my own trainer if I want to que more big

I am so so lucky that I have found George and his lovely owner. It really is helping to keep my mind occupied while Alee is lame.

I don't have any pics at the mo, but I promise I will bore you all soon.

Here is the ad I saw though:-
