Update - my little dog with dementia

[Mrs. Jingle]

Unfortunately Poppy went downhill rapidly the past 24 hours and was PTS this morning. Very quite and peaceful and a hopefully a dignified ending for her.

Heartbroken, thats both my dogs gone in a month - still reeling from losing my lab at 6 years and we had hoped Poppy would be around long enough to welcome our new lab who arrives next week. Sadly it wasn't to be.

RIP little Poppy. I am sure she is racing over Rainbow Bridge to catch up with her friend Coco.

So sorry to hear this but a gentle and dignified end, for which we can only hope for, for all our canine family members.

I lost both my oldies within a few mnths of each other too and it leaves you reeling......but I am so glad you have another too look forward too. After I lost my lab, who was my 'constant' for 11 yrs, I got another dog within a week - not to replace her, but to help fill the hole she left. Some people judged me for it, but it was the only way I could deal with the grief.
