I hacked out alone for the first time after this incident, last night.

Guess what? That wretched woman passed me twice! First time was going down the same hill into the village, I was quite alarmed, thinking she might be waiting for me round a corner for another go

.

Anyway, when I got down into the village, a woman was just getting out of her car, I was about to smile and say 'Hello' (as you do), when I realised it was her!!!

Judging by the furious look on her face, I'm pretty sure the police had been for a visit!!

I rode away, trying not to giggle

She lives right on the road, so the whole street must have seen the police car!

Some compensation for the fact that I had to get someone to hack out with me on Saturday, and I was nearly shaking

Hopefully she'll keep her head down and her toe off the gass from now on.

Makes you wonder, have they no idea how devastating it would be to have your horse killed in an RTA due to their stupidity, short temper and pure ignorance? it would be a different story if it was a child on a bike, ok so the human life has more value but still, driving without due care and attention leads to the same thing, fatalities.

Its a shame if your horse kicks her car that you are in trouble (cause Im sure it would have been sweeeeeeeeet!

Or perhaps she's just a miserable cow!

Why do people get so ANGRY in cars

Do people honestly believe, with the huge number of cars now on the road, that they can get from A to B at 60 mph and not be held up by something (usually and old person in a Nissan Micra around here)?

Glad you had the last laugh
