well.............. local vet came to see her on thursday for her dodgy legs and gave us some cream for it and gave her her vaccinations and she trotted away out to field quite the thing, get woken up but a txt in the morning to say abby is very lame!! so rush up to the yard to find her almost crippled lame, put a big comfy straw bed down for her until the super good vet could come up. vet didn't come it 10.30 that night!! and bandaged my poor abby's legs up. he scaped away at her foot after taking her shoe off, but couldn't find any visable absese. but did find some red bruised areas, so he polticed her and put her on bute and anti biotics.
went to give her her medicine this morning and she was still very lame but moving round the stable of her own accord, i've just changed her bandages and on her poltice there was alot of smelly puss from the red sore areas, which i suppose is a good sign, and her sore legs are improving and the sore swelling she had has gone down alot!!
so hopefully we are heading in the right direction!! be back riding soon
cookies for everyone who got this far xxx
