update on advice on yards please

some.of you might remember my previous thread re livery yard, hirses not getting out, not getting what i pay for etc.

thank.you for all your comments and help, i decided to take my mare home, unfortunately the companion didnt work.out but at preaent she seems quite happy with the cows.

i managed to get a space on the yard i wanted for my youngster, he'll be on full livery and will be out 24/7.

handed in notice last night, he was out in the field yeaterday, asked for him to go out today and went up after work.to find he'd stood in all day as the fields were too wet. i thibk(hope) i made the rihht decision and am hoping he loads (practicing every day) wish me luck!!
 
The fields were too wet? Where are you (sorry, can't see as on my phone)?

Sounds very dodgy indeed. As someone with two on grass livery, the idea of it being too wet for horses to go out always strikes me as odd :p But then my yard has very good pasture.

How long till you get to move him? A month from notice?
 
honest i dont get it! the yard im.going to they are out every day regardless cant wait. only a weeks notice so he's going at the weekend and i've paid them the rest oh i hope he goes in the trailer!!
 
sounds like you made the right decision.
