Ahhhhhhh bloody horses......
She was a little minx and wouldn't calm down on the lunge at all therefore making it very hard to assess her soundness.
However from what we could see there was slight improvement on the left rein but she still looked quite lame on the right.
Plan now is to turn her out (which I have just done with the help of good old sedalin) and then in 1 week start to lightly lunge her in the hope that when the vet comes out in 4 weeks she will be nice and calm to be reassessed at home.
If there is improvement (which looks unlikely) then she needs to be back in work for 2 months before being reassessed again.
My vet actually said to me yesterday though that if it was his horse that he would cut his losses now as even if she does improve i'll have trouble keeping her sound
So in 3 months time between us we will make a decision about what will happen to her. In the meantime I am going to look into Twemlows to see if she would be suitable for embryo transfer.
Thanks for all your vibes yesterday.
