Well little pony saw the vet today and was scoped etc.
he has a severe dust allergy, so is being kept outside for that and an inhaler given(oh yay) apparantly not to even come in for an hour if possible.
And he has a tennis ball sized (or so it looked~) lump just below his vocal chords. Vet has never seen anything like it, thought could be cyst, tumour. Basically not sure.
So he's to see how it goes for a short while whilst he finishes games season, then we'll investigate further, poss x-ray, scan and biopsy, drain if fluid filled or see whats going on.
So anybody had a lump in this area?
Basically he is probably going to retire based on this, he deserves to retire certainly, but with the dust allergy I would imagine arenas etc. won't do it much good. He's a hairy good doer so living out won't do him any harm, but a bit concerned this growth is going to grow..
