Just because I like posting pictures of him :biggrin3:

Went out on our second hack alone today, a month after our first one. Again he was brilliant, slightly more wary this time as being a Sunday the chase was really busy, so during our 15 min hack we met bikes popping out of the trees, scary prams and kids, and quite a few dogs running around! Took it all in his stride and was mainly just scared of the puddles :rolleyes3:

I'm going to start long reining him out I think to get him used to it all, and so we can tackle the stream without me being launched into orbit as he isn't too confident with mud/puddles/water.

Excuse the mess...!

Not similar breeding then, though this colour and markings combo does seem to appear fairly often on D's. Mine's by Maesmynach Black Gent out of Parcmorfa Nest, she's 15.1 currently and doesn't seem to be slowing down (sire was 16.2, and dam was 16!). Gulp.

This photo is from start of October (she was broken start of Sept - not me riding!)

and this is from start of November (just after I bought her!)

she does have a flaxen mane and tail under all the mud, honest . She's also grown loads since these photos were taken (she was 14.2hh when I bought her) and gained some big shoulders.

Ahh mine is a C so only about 13hh at the minute! A lot smaller than what yours is going to turn out by the sound of it! :biggrin3:
