Not great unfortunately I have made a real mess. Just got back from physio and accupuncture session but need to go again. Feel a lot better and can sit in my chair without crying with the pain!

But I have been told it is all in spasm and was a bit too sore to do any serious work on

So I am back next week where he will work on re-aligning my lower back and spine...not good

So I am off for a hot bath now under instruction and have been told if I ride before next week I will be back to square one...so looks like the lad is on hols stuffing his face for a while...so much for getting more riding in over the bank holiday

But at least things are improving pain wise...!

Poor you - I know how you must be feeling. I had to have 8 weeks off because my back went into spasm. It is v painful isn't it and there is no position in which you can feel comfortable, especially sitting. I spent most of the 8 weeks either lying or pacing and I couldn't do either for long. It was an exhausting time.

i know exactly how you feel. I'm supposed to be having physio on my back but i'm in too much pain so i'm being sent back to the doctors for pain killers. They are also not happy that i havn't had the whole of my back x-rayed! My boy is having time off but luckily i have a walker i can shove him on to keep him a bit fit.

eek, you poor thing. I have a slipped disc and a trapped nerve but I am very lucky in that riding is the only thing that makes it feel better.
Hope your back feels better soon, can you do some lungeing to keep horsey fit? or take him for a walk?
