This is an update on behalf of Poodle 20, who for various reasons, which she doesn't want to go into on here, has asked TFC to delete her account.
Anyway, a big thank you to all those people who gave help and advice on travelling her old boy, especially to someone called Shaun who sent her a PM, she cannot remember his user name, he gave Poodle some very kind advice and help. So a big thank you to him.
The old boy travelled really well, loaded without really any problem and travelled with Poodle's youngster. On arrival he was fine, walked down the ramp very slowly, wasn't too sweated up and seemed fine.
The bad loader mare, eventually loaded after about 20 mins, with the transporter and OH being there plus 2 friends. She did wave her front legs about a bit and slipped on the ramp banging her chin. The vet was on hand, so she followed the wagon to check on the old boy and the mare at their new home. Poodle was waiting at their new home for their arrival as it was thought that the horses would pick up on her stress and fear at travelling the older horse.
All was well.
They are now settled in their new home and seem very happy, as is Poodle 20 and her OH.
