Went to a little show on Monday and whaddya know, the kid and the pony decide they don't hate each other at all, have a blast in the gymkhana and jump a clear round.
Maybe they were both just bored? Have since cut the apron strings and just taken them out hacking, no lead rein no major supervision, just right, come on, follow me, and they've been fine.
Who knew?!
