Morning. Good news today. Cloud is doing well today. I know we aren't out of the woods yet, but she had a good night out. She's sticking to her friend like glue & keeps him on the side she has lost her vision, but she seems to be coping really well.

I need to check her wee this morning & will get the vet back out to do another check over. Also I guess it will be a good idea to get her back checked over. Do you think I would be better doing this asap or waiting until some of the swelling & stiffness has reduced?

Anyway, I'm allowing myself to feel a lot more positive today.

I only joined the forum a fee days ago & lots of you asked for some photos of my baby, obviously I had other priorities over the weekend, but here's a link to a few. She's not looking quite so pretty at thye moment, but she is still beautiful to me!

She's lovely. Glad shes recovering. I think you would be wise to get her back checked but would wait as you say until shes feeling a bit better. Good luck.

She's very pretty. Hope she continues to improve. I can't imagine how worried you must be.
I would leave her back until she's feeling better - you know its going to be sore at the moment so let it settle and see how she is then.

Ahhhh pretty girl, glad she is improving. I think your right to be thinking about getting her back checked, but agree about leaving her for a week or two, to let the initial bruising/inflammation settle, but may be worth getting her booked in as sometimes it takes a week or two to get an appointment (plus they may be able to advise how long to leave after such massive trauma).

Nice horse....keep us posted how she goes, bless!
