Well, vet came at 2pm (on the dot!), we tried to see if we could quietly load him without drugs - wasn't going to happen
Once sedated, we had to literally inch him on moving his feet for him. Left him for 1/2 an hour for the sedation to wear off, and then travelled to the vets. Once there, poor little lad was lathered up and did not want to come off! Have had to leave him there overnight and they are going to x-ray him in the morning and do any other tests etc that may be necessary.
My poor baby, I have never had a horse lather up like that before and I felt just terrible leaving him there, although I know it is all in his best interests. It goes to show what an honest boy he is, as to get him off I had to stand on the ramp encouraging him whilst a vet and a nurse literally pushed from behind, not once did he even threaten to kick
