Pony is on day 4 of Prascend and so far so good. Have taken to hiding it in a bit of carrot and that seems to work fine. So far she is as she was before, no sign of the Prascend Veil as yet (hopefully we might avoid that). I did ask vet if I should start with a smaller amount and work up, but he said his experience was that I might as well go straight in at 1 tablet a day.

I have for the last 2/3 years been feeding her Agnus Castus as I'd always suspected she was leaning towards Cushings. I'm now wondering whether to cease feeding this now that she is on Prascend, or whether to continue?

I would suggest discontinuing the agnus castus as apparently it can have the opposite effect to the prascend, which is the only proven treatment for PPID.

Thank you, that's interesting. I put her on AC in the first place as she was displaying early Cushings symptoms, and it did seem to help.

I have got her on turmeric for her joints but have discovered that it doesn't mix well with Prascend so will try Devil's Claw or Boswellia instead for that.

Agree...I would stop the Angus castus. Apparently it can help some symptoms and hinder others.
Good to hear your pony isn't experiencing the veil. If she does at any point then just drop to a smaller dose until she improves and increase slowly.
