Update on Dol, (apoligies for new thread)

Wel it appears she has flared up an old splint, is actually now visible and hot. It obviously hurts her to have it pressed on!
SO she is on bute and rest. SHe's allowed out as long as she doesnt hoon around which im sure she wont, and if all else fails she can go in the pen. The only reason she doesnt have to be on box rest is that she isnt needed anytime soon for competition so can fix slowly! However if she isnt better in a fortnight we hav to get them back down as it may be a fracture. (she fractured that leg a few years ago).
Quite glad of a diagnosis and hopefully she wil be back to her old self soon!

If you have an equine spa anywhere near they do wonders for splints. We took Jonty for her tendon and one of the side effects was a massive reduction in her splints at the same time.
glad it's nothing serious.
