Hi everyone,
Not posted for a while do not want to bore you all with our efforts, but thought I would give you a small udate on how we are both doing.
Today I managed to lunge Ebony standing up lol, what I hear some of you say !! It has taken a while but for the first time today I managed the whole session standing up, and did not have to sit on my tub at all woo hoo, it has been coming in short bits standing up and then sitting down for a bit, but we did it. She was very good and we only had one moment when I thought I might end up sand surfing up the school had a little wobble but held it together and did not fall over always a bonus
Bless her she does give me an old fashioned look sometimes as if to say What the helll is she doing now and then carries on with her work.
On Saturday we had another lesson and it really is all coming together, I am now able to trot the whole way round,and do our 20m circles in trot, which to most of you is not a big deal but to me it really is huge and my balance is so much better that we have also started some canter work really pleased about this, but this is only small sections not able to keep it together all the way round but we are getting there trouble is dearest Ebony does get a bit excited and we did have a few bucks but she has got over herself thank god as my one little leg was griping on like grim death balance must be getting better as did not fall off, instructor is really pleased with both of us, and I am as well, so just wanted to give you a happy positive post from me and the big black bear.
