Featherpower had her surgery yesterday, 4 hours in theatre being pinned back together.
She is in hospital until Monday, then will hopefully be allowed home and the recouperation process begins in ernest.
She said that the electric tape hit her legs with such force it took her legs from under her and sent her up into the air. She isn't sure whether it was the tape that caused the damage, pulling her foot one way as her leg went the other or if it was the landing that caused the damage.
Regardless, it was a bad fracture and she will be off her feet for a while. She is rather down at the moment (understandably) wondering if she will ride or dance again (she is a dance teacher).
Keep those healing vibes for S coming, she really needs them at the moment, and thanks for the messages asking how she is, I will pass them all on when I see her over the weekend.
