Just a quick update!

We done very well at her first show (fun show) in over 2 years and got a 1st, 2nd and 3rd but didn't stay for the championship as it was another 3 hours away!

She was brilliant to handle in the inhand classes and an absolute nutter in the ridden class!

I've ridden her twice prior to the show and she was very well behaved considering she is retired! At the show it was a completely different story.. We were asked to do a short ridden show with the usual walk, trot, canter and extension. We came up the centre line in walk, stood by the judge and I asked her to walk on; this then proceeded to be a super collected canter (good enough for a pirouette!!!) with me struggling to bring her back to trot. We finally trotted across the diagonal with some extension. We then cantered at the next short side and straight across the next diagonal without breaking a single step of trot! I then gave up any hope of pulling her back and done my extension down the long side and to mine and everyone's astonishment she can move! The hind end went down, the front up and we literally thundered towards the corner. I manage to trot back up the centre line towards the judge and stand her square. My arms and legs were dead but I laughed the whole way round. I got a round of applause and a well done for the sort-of control I had. Today, my hips are still dislocated from riding in her xxxxw saddle..! I felt like I was riding a pencil when I got on my warmblood!!

Here's a couple of pictures: (Please excuse how chunky I look, I'm not like that in real life!)
