Well he is eating less and less everyday that goes by, had the vet out today and checked everything,

teeth - fine
trot up - sound
heart - fine
resps - fine
temp - 36.5 (tad low and thats with a rug on all day and no rains etc but nothing much to worry about)

so she has taken some more bloods if these come back normal we will do the cushings test to see if his cushings has gotten worse.

i asked her about grass sickness and she said not showing correct symptoms for this, and about the tumors which she said was a possibility (she also diagnosed me with googleitus lol) but we need to eliminated more obvious things first. so basically just a wait and see game for the bloods to come back.

fingers crossed :(

Fingers crossed for him

Be 100% about the grass sickness, I do know some vets can misdiagnose it if not experienced about the condition. Even if it isn't grass sickness though it may be worth looking up the management of it and how to try to get them eating etc as still may give some helpful ideas for your boy - http://www.grasssickness.org.uk/main.htm

we discussed the grass sickness and i am confident on my vets ability when it comes to grass sickness, as she diagnosed and treated one of my friends horses who survived chronic grass sickness, i will have a read of that link though thanks you.

I'm sorry to hear this.
I had a Clydesdale mare who gradually went off her food although she appeared to be perfectly alright in all other ways. After about 2 weeks she had a prolapse of the rectum. The vet came out and sewed her back together and gave her anti-bs etc. She seemed fine for the next week, then on the Saturday morning she was staggering about in her stable. The vet diagnosed extreme dehydration, probably caused by a burst tumour. We pts immediately.
Sorry I haven't got a better story for you. I hope your outcome is better than ours.

Hugs to you, I hope you find out what's wrong and it isnt too serious, I know how frustrating it can be not knowing what's wrong :(
