Well thanks to Ernikins I bought a pair of hind 'technique' boots - not weighted.

B has been away and returned last night.

Well jumped W today, warmed up without them them put the grid up to 1m and put them on. She was kicking off the ground far more, B said the canter felt as though she was being kicked up the backside!

She jumped as though on springs, clearing 1.30m easily - the biggest we have ever jumped her! There was still more jump there but didn't want to push it!

Looks like they are working!

Sounds fab

REally really useful feedback thanks Thistle! I have been having annoying one fence down-itis at N with a horse who is naturally very careful, really frustrating, think I will tr4y some of these

Fab, were yours as expensive as the ones on the link (sorry to be nosey!) I was looking at the NEW hind extendor boots for G horse.... but not sure if he would object. They look nicer....

I bought mine secondhand from Ernikins, they are not quite the same and are neoprene lined not leather, lot cheaper too. The NEW ones work in a different way. Dalmar do a similar type boot too.
