well we went for a second try on the mare that had previously had laminitis which we were worried about. had a long chat with owners and was given chance to speak to their vet over the lami. rode and jumped her again and still loved her. we decided the lami wasn't a huge issue and she was too good to let pass us by so we left a deposit!

am very excited and cant wait till tuesday when we can go get her! we started looking in october for a new one and its been a nightmare, cant believe we've finally found one!

Im excited for you and after such a long search, you have the horse of your dreams! My only advice would be to watch her, restrict grazing, visit the Laminitis Trust website and, ask here for advice.

I wish you the very best of luck with her and lets have some piccies x

thanks both of you! will be very careful with her as would hate for her to get lami again.

boss- she's a 15.2, 12yo dark bay thoroughbred, i think she's a lovely little mare! possibly a bit small for my long legs but i d rather have that than something big that scares me! lol hopefully she's going to make the transition off ponies onto horses as easy as possible!

Im really pleased for you Cinders, and her owner must be genuine to let you speak to her vet about the mare. Im sure she will be fantastic with careful management and i hope you have many happy years together!!

Can't wait to see piccies!!
