Mine wouldn't eat her changed feed the first couple of times, just keep trying. Give the feed when there is no forage in the stable (or only scraps) put it in and go away and do something else. Do not give a different feed if it isn't eaten up and do not take the minerals out next time. Keep presenting the horse with the feed and eventually they will realise that is what they get and that is how it tastes and will eat up.
Introduce the pro-hoof (or whatever) slowly, if you need to feed 1 full scoop a day try splitting it between three feeds so that the taste isn't too strong. Don't go back and forth between a feed with it in and one without. Mine was being really fussy and the yard staff were giving her a normal feed some days to keep her eating and to avoid her dropping weight but actually she ate up better when just given the pro-hoof every time. Kind of like dealing with a toddler really.......
