Good evening everyone.I just wanted to thank you for your help concerning my friend with her 17 year old dog.I spoke to my friend the day after i asked for your advice about it maybe being the right time to let her old boy go.She got very tearful but she knew it was going to be sooner rather than later and she would take it day by day.The old boy had abit of a bad time yesterday and his back legs went out from under him whilst they were out for a walk and my friend had to carry him home.So sadly this morning the vet came out and put him down. The vet told my friend it was time so i think that made her feel better in making that horrible decision.Rest in peace Sweep. You made your owner very happy over the 17 years and i know she will miss you terribly.Good night old man.x

It is a very hard decision but it should never be put off the trouble is you get too attached the damm critters!!

She knew the time was close but just maybe needed abit of reassurance that she was doing the right thing. After losing my 18 year old dog i said to her that she would know when it's time.I had a text off her this morning just saying ..it's time.

17 and 18 are VERY good ages! Better a week too soon than a day too late in my opinion............sometimes easier to say than do, I know.

RIP both woofers and good hunting at Rainbow Bridge.
