Hi,
Thank you everyone who replied last time I posted.
The horses have now had two weeks off and have just been retested. The good news is that one of them seems to be recovering (the white blood cell ratio is normalising from being close to reversing) and everything else seems to be pretty normal.
However, the younger horse (4 yrs old) seems to be getting worse.
His ratio was reversing on the previous results but has completely reversed now (lymphocytes are 56.1%, SEGS (neutrophils sp?) are 39.6% and monocytes are 4.3%).
They've been on Echinacea for 2 weeks and we're going to try Levamisol to help stimulate the immune system alongside the echinacea and retest in 2 weeks but otherwise I'm at a complete loss. They're not in any work now and are going out till 3pm, then come in. They're also on as much food as they were when in full work but neither has put on any weight???
Any ideas would be great.
Thanks
