Update on 'is she lame video'...

Took Mups over to the vets today, and she is more lame than she has ever been since she fractured her pedal bone. She is 4/10 on the left (with fracture) on a circle and 2/10 on the right on a circle. The left didn't really block out to the back of the foot, but did to the full foot. I have left her there for more specific blocks tomorrow. The vet isn't convinced that the lameness is related to the fracture, there has always been a question as to whether the fracture caused her to be lame in the first place, or whether there was a soft tissue injury.

Some good vibes would be appreciated for tomorrow and some news that whatever she has is treatable.

Thanks everyone, I am really worried as she is only 7 and she was a 'BOGOF' so have had her since she was born.

Tricksy - she didn't do very well in the prelim, being lame didn't help! I think I recognise your horse - I assume he was the spotty one? My first pony was a blanket spot appaloosa and have always had a soft spot for them!

Out of interest, did the dressage judge notice? I watched a horse recently that was absolutely hopping and the judge never stopped it! i saw it going xc later, poor horse.

The judge said that she was unlevel on the left rein - unfortunately, because she is lame in both front feet, she doesn't actually look hopping lame all the time, but just wasn't going forward.

Yes I took my spottie, there were a lot of coloured there on Saturday but I think I recognise your horse.
