Farrier is now refusing to show my horse and says that he doesnt need my business and that he's had two weeks of customers having a go and he's had enough!

If thats the case he should look at himself!

So deciding to cut my losses (which now includes £40 entries for a show i cant go to tomorrow!) i need a new farrier.....
So any suggestions for farriers in herts or that cover west herts!
Thanks in advance!

F*cking hell - what a attitude! Sorry no idea about farriers in your area - But I think you probably are better off withut him (any chance he hasn't bank your cheque yet - and you can stop it?)+

I'd report him...he may not need you business, but he has not right to treat you that way...they have a strict code of conduct. Would also look at who is registered in your area, and ask your vet, they usually recommend the good ones and omit the bad.

OMG that is disgusting behaviour - would def report him assuming he is registered? How does he think that he is not in the wrong if everyone else is complaining, you are better off without him I say. Just out of interest, I am in Herts - which farrier is it? (PM me obviously!) and I can also give you a couple of alternative names to try!
