Never asked for vibes on here before but have seen them work before so am hoping they may work for me.
A very nice vet came out to see Adina this morning.
He said what he thought it was but, for some reason, it has totally escaped me
He said it was VERY hard to identify it by a trot up or on the lunge.
So, mare is now on 3 weeks box rest/ very limited turnout/in hand walking with bute for a week and then I can introduce work gradually if she seems ok. If it doesnt get better she will have to have a scan.
I was assured that it was unlikely to have been there before i bought her and reskons she might have done it out in the field.
Luckily she is such a dream and is so chilled out, I think she will be ok. Im off to Mole Valley later to buy her some more lickits.
A bit of a set back and my plans will be a bit delayed (was planning to get on her properly by the end of this week) but there is no rush what so ever and she is just far too nice to risk.
Mind you, I wouldn't mind that vet coming out again!
Adina even thought he was rather nice and nuzzled his arse when he was looking at her leg.
So fingers crossed everyone please that after 3 weeks of rest and she will be ok.
