The RSPCA is taking action on the mare I reported for sale on an internet site. I phoned them and they confirmed it but would not say any more.

I hope she has as good a result as the other mare, Ruby Treasure, who is tucked up in a warm stable, rugged, and with a big pile of haylage under her nose - gaining weight every day!

great news, hope she gets the same good outcome as ruby did. Don't worry about information, unless you need to provide a witness statement, updates will be limited due to data protection. The fact is that the rspca have actioned it and let you know. Fab news.

They may go but in their 'advisory' role. as 'It is not in their interest to prosicute neglegt if they can advise the owners'. Don't expect much.

hold on, everyone on here keeps harping on about the rs being only about prosecutions and not about re-educating, now you're saying the opposite??!!

I am just glad they are at least investigating. At least there is a small hope that she will be kept under observation but I do not believe anyone could look at her and not see that she was clearly neglected and in really poor condition.
