Update on me and mine

Some have been asking how my lot are so thought I'd do a small update post!!
Moon is very well, she's fit and ready to run- she's entered for Bath and West next Sunday in the PN but whether she'll get the run or not I dont know- we havent jumped a single xc fence since October, though she does pop the stone walls at home nicely!
Flossy is well, she's really come on in her work and will shortly be up for sale. She's grown 1/2 inch and filled out, she's now 15.3 and coming up 6 in May. Her jump is fab, she just tends to occaisionally hurdle things!!
Boss is very settled in his new home- he's doing lots so his mind is kept busy and they like him. Hopefully he'll be able to stay there until retirement, though he comes home to me during the summers which I'm secretly really looking forward to!!
My sister's lot are well, she's not able to ride for a while so theyre all boiling over and 2/3 of them will be sold asap- we have a lovely 5 year old out of racing who'll make a fab RC/eventer for someone as he's v straightforward. Grinder is a stayer but he is being exceptionally cheeky (he had me off today

Now I've got my own transport I hope to finally get out and do something with Moon!!
 
Do you want to come Sj on Wednesday? I am thinking of going to Badgworth. I then might go for a ride at Rowborough - not far from you as they have ditches and streams which i thought might be good for old rodders! Glad Floss is coming on well - I think she will make someone a super horse.
 
Nice to hear an update on all yours - I hope you and Moon have a super time next week (and you have a photographer arranged!). Shame your sister is not riding at the moment (have you told us why and I missed it....sorry being nosey!), is George competing this year? He seems a lovely type.
 
George probs wont compete this year, he may do later in the season or I may ride him at one or two but he has nothing left to prove basically and it isnt all easy for him!!
 
Good stuff! Will Floss' profit be yours, or were you bringing her on for somebody? Take it B is no longer at Weezy's? And have you suggested to your sister that you should be taking her string out for her whilst she's off?!
 
Brilliant news that youve got your own transport at last, what a feeling it is to be free to go whereever whenever you like with your own horses!
Good to hear that they are all well and that Boss has found a good home.... and I should think that you will make a tidy sum on Floss!
Now any chance that your sister can be 'off riding' for a bit longer so that you can get the ride on Grinder too?!

Yes hopefully should get a little bit from Flossy's sale, hopefully anyway!! Bossman was being very naughty for poor Weezy so he's gone somewhere to be worked hard which he actually loves!!
Trying to talk Tam into letting me have the rides but not sure I'm getting anywhere- think she'd rather they had some time off now and she did it all. At least theyre all young enough for that, is a bit of a shame for poor Grinder though

It's lovely- took a horse out today, spur of the moment and it was wonderful

If you hear of anyone looking for a nice JRN horse, Odin will be for sale soon and he's wonderfully easy.

Not being a *work hard in the school every day* person I wasn't giving him what he thrived on - still totally adore him tho and may well see him during the summer if Boss collects anymore horses LOL!
