So after changing diet to wainwrights 7+ for the 2yr old....I spoke to the nutritionist who agreed we need to keep him lean for his hips but the 7+ has added joint care to support.

It's been a week on the new food and after the first day he has been quieter and had no crazy odd moments!!!!! Have spoken to my vet who thinks he is very sensitive to crap in foods as well as meds (is allergic to at least two antibiotics) and butchers and the like are full of nothing but crap.

So I have to make sure I know everything he eats.

It's a relief to see the improvement.

The other two are on it as well and I've noticed a difference in them, no farting :D and less pooping.

Thank you for all comments and tips

must be a great relief for you....hope he continues to do well on the new food....my lurcher has a very sensitive tummy and is on james wellbeloved food and has been fine for ages BUT i have to be very careful on walks as she will eat the most disgusting things like rotten dead things and that causes major problems and we go back to chicken and rice for a few days..she hasnt eaten any crap for a while so fingers crossed..

thanks.

was looking at the treats for training....will pick up some next time im in there.

was surprised to notice a difference that quickly.

That's really good news! My little 'un can't eat anything with grain in it, so I've had to buy him grain free food and make sure he doesn't get any scraps from us with that type of thing in. The improvement was mega quick - couple of days or so to solid poop. On the downside, he does have more energy as the food is metabolising more effectively. He ran 12 miles with me riding a bike last weekend and he could have done it again. Although I couldn't.
