Hi all, thought i'd post a quick update on my mare i recently bought. Unfortunatly not everything has worked out to plan. She has been with me for approx 1 month. Shes been turned out 24/7 with regular handling/grooming/lunging all of which she doesnt like. She has recently got very bad with her kicking she will try and corner me in the field when im poo picking, or swing on me when im leading her in. The thing is shes not scared and has no respect for me or OH we recently had her back done, teeth looked at and saddle checked which all seemed to be fine i also had my vet check her over as was convinced somethng was'nt right with her but all seems ok???!!! I'm getting to the end of my tether with her we're not scared of her and are firm when shes naughty. I don't know what else to try. It's got to the point where my loaner (loans my welsh gelding) has said she'll have her and im seriously considering it as we really just seem to clash constantly!

She looks like butter wouldn't melt!!! But hey...thats ponies for you.
Unless you know a lot about her history?? Something must of happened, maybe she had to defend herself in some sort of way? Unless you know why she's behaving like that its pretty hard to know what approach to take.
 
i think i remember seeing her advertised for sale somewere.
i remember thinking she was v pretty and seemed a bargain ?
obv not.
