update on my navicular horse and navilox

well my tb has been on navilox now for a month and has had remedial shoeing, he was re assessed thusrday and the vet is amazed at his improvement, he looks like a different horse and his work load is aloud to be increased slightly so iv started putting some light hill in. hes having imprint shoes on as he keeps pulling the straight bars off and pulling his feet appart. im a very happy bunny right now!

That is good news! You must be pleased. My first horse I owned when I was 14 had navicular and they trialed Navilox as the new drug out at the time.....( I am much older than 14 now!!) It worked wonders and she never went lame again and I could stop the use of navilox too. I believe it did stop being used for a while and seems to have come back as being used again for the treatment of navicular?

im trying the magnet route to, iv ordered some magnetic over reach boots for him to wear a few hours a day to increase the blood flow, hes gone down from his 3 scps twice a day of the navilox to 3 scps once a day for 3 weeks then he goes onto 3 scps every other day for another 3 weeks.
