Well, all is settling in well with Wink, we've been out three times this week and I've even cantered a couple of times along one of the bridleways (something I thought I'd be too scared to do for a while!) Wink is lovely, very interested in everything that goes on, not in a spooky way, he just likes to see what is going on!

We went out this evening with my hubby and young daughter on their bikes and he was great! He has got two new fans in them as well, not sure when the old man will be getting in the saddle though!!

Here we are!

I'm sure in weeks to come I'll be asking for lots of comments on how he's looking, how I'm looking etc etc, but please bear in mind, before last week I'd ridden about 5 times in the last 10 years!! LOL;)

My old boy was called Winks and was my horse of a lifetime.

I'm sure you're boy will be equally as wonderful! Have fun!!

He's lovely , i just love a coloured ..I did laugh when you said he looks at everything , i guess when you're that big you can see over the hedges!! :D

Wow - he is big!

He is also very handsome. I hope you have a lot of fun together. Does your daughter ride too? You might find you will have to get another one so she can hack out with you!

My daughter is 4 and has just started to ride. She went on an 1.5 hour easter egg hunt ride with me leading her this morning, that has been her first hacking experience. We're just taking it nice and slow and relaxed with her riding, she goes once a fortnight at the moment.

Congratulations, he is beautiful :D I'll post piccys of my new mare later, it's been about 5 years since I've ridden (bar a friend's cob and an old warmblood who didn't move...)

I love big horses, I bet his canter is loevly too x
