He arrived yesterday morning. Cannot believe how chilled he was - no neighing or fidgeting, after a quick look around he was eating hay like he'd always been there!

Poor girl who's pony he was was in tears, probably a good sign but sad for her.

I left him in until early evening. He was quite bright when I led him out to the paddock (he is rather porky ATM so will have to go in a small paddock with my sec B, grey in sig) and I expected him to explode as soon as I took the headcollar off, but no, instead he trotted up and down a couple off times then got down to some grazing. He met his new companion over the fence, but she was more interested in him than he in her!

I took him for a short hack early this morning. He made a bit of a fuss passing a tractor, but did go past without the driver having to turn the engine off - I am wondering if he was just testing me or he really dosen't like tractors, he will have to get used to them round here! Other than that he didn't put a foot wrong. He was forward going without being joggy or strong and was not spooky.

After riding I put Curly back in the paddock with him and she gave him some stick, but it is her patch so she is within her rights to be a bit put out!

He's really sweet and has lovely manners and so far I am really pleased with my purchase! :D:D
