I've made my mind up to go for it!
I fell in love with the horse immediately, and even though I was nervous as hell when I tried her and daren't do anything except walk round the school, I felt this is the horse that will give me back my confidence.
My plan is to take her on a month's trial, get to know her on the ground so we're completely happy with each other, and once I'm back to full health I'll get some lessons and may even go on to low level dressage.
I realised that the opportunity to have the use of a bombproof horse in a yard that's five minutes from work with the help and support of her owners and other people on the yard might not come along again for a long time, so I'd be stupid not to at least have a go, and if it all goes pear shaped I've not lost a shedload of money.
