Update on my terrier

Thank you all for your advice yesterday. Went to the vet yesterday evening.
He has gastroenteritis, she thinks its a specific type beginning with L but I didn't catch whole name! Anyway, he has some antibiotics, electrolytes and probiotics. He's still very quiet but not being sick so on the mend hopefully.

Poor chap is having the electrolyte solution syringed in and is not impressed.

Every time I pick up the syringe he hides. Its amazing how difficult it can be to find a small dog in a small two bed house!

I did forget to ask the vet when to offer him food again and what to offer. I don't think he would be overly interested yet anyway so will ring vets tomorrow morning anyway but any other advice would be welcome.

He will let you know when he is hungry and, being a terrier, I think you'll get the message fairly quickly....he he. Good to hear he is on the mend.

Oh bless im sure he will be back on form in no time.
My terrier had gastro last Jan and bounced back very quickly, she was allowed rice and chicken and also scrambled egg but made with no milk or butter etc. just small meals and re introduce normal food slowly bit by bit.
