update on my war horses.

well vet was out today to do princes nerve blocks but still a no go as hes lame on the legs that his old wounds have split open on so hopefully 3rd time lucky next week for nerve blocks! hes very impressed with graces wound, if you didnt see a pic of her wound let me know and il put a link on. the scab is in nice and tight and skin edges are looking good! princes how ever, because they are old wounds that have split open and its scar tissue its goin to take a long time to heal. hes got some special dressing that are softer than animalintex and hes got some gel. got to ring the vet on sunday to let him know how its healing and hes coming back out, under the wound hes got a hard lump thats formed so hes got to have something put on that to break it down so the wound can fully heal. nightmare, just want to find out why my horse i lame (on the other leg)

Exactly!
For the cuts, have you tried Equaide?
When worm did her leg (that was majorly sliced, 6 inch long, inch wide, inch deep around the pastern) it got rid of all proud flesh and infection overnight, and pretty much closed it up in a week! It was amazing, especially after the wound just getting worse :s for a week beforehand!

hes given me some gel he had left over from yesterday that he said i could have, think he feels abit sorry for me at the mo haha, what with both of them injuring themselves! luckily prince is insured and im claiming for lameness so hes putting what he can on the insurance! iv ordered some vetalintex hydrogel off ebay and just waiting for that to arive which is prety similar to the gel he has given me to keep me going untill mine arrives. think my vet is going to get sick of me soon, hes been out to me every week for last 7 weeks!
