Update on my youngster - Thought you'd like to see his progress - pic dense

He looks like he is going really well....I am glad you were able to find someone to help you with him.....

A little OT, but is it normal to have a martingale and a flash on a baby?....When I was backing my 3 yr old this year, it was suggested that I put a flash on him, but I wasnt keen on strapping a youngsters mouth shut.....?

(I am asking a serious question, not trying to be argumentative.....)

I really like him, lovely to hear and see that he's coming on well, you must be very proud of him, hope all continues to go well, look forward to seeing some more pictures of him, he's a handsome chap!

would you mind if i pm'd you for the details of who you bought him off?
i think he's lush :D
Feel free, breeder has a half brother ( heavier cob Clydie x Appy ) and a this years foal (Appy and coloured markings on white base, out of ISH mare by my horses Sire) ,he half brother to my boy.
He also has some fabulous ID fillies.
I also expect he has some others hidden about the place too.
One thing I will say breeder doesn't do much with them, he will train them to lead and load for their own safety when travelling, if you give him time, likewise coming into a stable a few times and a bit of tying up. but thats about it.

Have to say - despite my issue re age - i would thoroughly recommend the guy I bought from. Lovely guy and is being very helpful - offering refund/grazing/swap/another horse - basically whatever i want to do he will sort it out. Wouldnt however be recommending the vets! :D

ETS - and the horses whilst unhandled ARE fabulous! So good natured, easy and perfect for a first breaker if thats what you re after. Related to the first coloured racehorses (sire bred by Honeypot stud). Mine is more TB than the TB racehorses(15/16ths)!
