Update on napping pony

I was all upset yesterday because my pony decided to nap near the school gate and then proceeded to plant when asked to trot on. Today, however, all is well again. I rode with a schooling whip and a couple of light taps seemed to sort things out and pony was like "how fast would you like me to go - happy to oblige Mum".

Thanks to all who offered advice yesterday. I have also managed to find another hacking partner so I will be able to get out and about at least twice a week for a nice long hack which pony enjoys a lot.
